7 WEEKS OLD

Kalli got her vaccines yesterday! Daddy took her because I couldn't stand to see her scream bloody murder. But Dad said she did great and was a trooper....she must of gotten his high tolerance for pain! She pretty much slept all day, but the night was a little rough and she was fussy which isn't like her. She is back to her normal smiley self this morning.

Kalli and Bunny

We were able to get out on the lake this past weekend, it was perfect weather (78 degrees) and perfect wakeboarding conditions. I was out there for the first time this season and loved every minute of it, even with the water being 68 degrees...it was soooo worth it!!!!! We might get out there again on Thanksgiving day...we'll see.

Grandma and Kalli on the dock

All of my aunts, uncles and cousins are coming out for Thanksgiving to stay at my Mom's house, there is going to be about 40 of us! I can't wait!

Some exciting news!!!!!

KALLI ROLLED OVER!!!! This was exciting news to hear from my Mom and sister, but unfortunately I missed it. Kalli was doing some tummy time and she rolled from her tummy to her back. I know she'll do it again, but there is just something about the first time. She is such a strong little thing. She holds her head up high and wiggles around like an inch worm. She is starting to social smile at Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Jessica. I sang the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star the other day and as soon as I got done, she smiled so big.....it just melts my heart. She also gets smiley when she knows she is about to eat and often smiles while eating, it's just too cute! She is more aware of her surroundings and is checking everything out. When she is in the swing she looks up at the birds moving around and tries to talk to them. When you say her name she turns her head to where the voice is coming from. She loves looking at herself in the mirror. We will get little coo's from her, but it looks like she just wants to tell you something when we talk to her. Maybe she'll be the social butterfly like her father.
We have been so lucky to have such a good baby. She rarely fusses unless she is hungry. I am waiting for that to change because I think she is just to good to be true!
I am just enjoying every minute of her!

My friend Jennifer, her husband Jose and their daughter Kayla came into town this past weekend. We all went to Salt Lick for some BBQ. It was great to get out of the house for the first time with Kalli. It was such a nice visit!!!

Lexi is finally cone free. She is back to her normal crazy self, not like she wasn't before with that cone on. I did get some bruises on my legs from her running into me. She's such a big moose! She is still so good with Kalli and wants to give her kisses all the time. Lexi loves her sister!

Our Little Pumpkin

Dad is that you?
Happy Halloween
Trick or Treat
Kalli's 1st Halloween! We had a pretty kick back night and just passed out candy. Dad was able to scare some kids with his costume while I made dinner. We didn't have as many trick-or-treaters as we thought so we got stuck with a ton of candy...oh darn, more for me!!! :)
I went to the Dr. on Monday and got the OK to start doing all the fun stuff I used to do before I got pregnant. So, today Kalli and I are going for a run. My back has been hurting lately, but I think it's from all the bending over while changing diapers and carrying the car seat...I'm not quite used to all that yet.
Anyway, just wanted to share some pictures of our little pumpkin! Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
