*Kalli is teething, she is drooling a ton! She loves her teething rings and does this head shake before she puts it in her mouth...very cute & funny.

*EVERYTHING she grabs or holds goes right to her mouth including my hair.

*She loves to stand up.

*She likes to play peek-a-boo

*She likes to read and wants to hold the book and try to turn pages.

*She loves to listen to baby mozart in the car and several times it has gotten her to stop fussing.

*She doesn't really care too much for the binkie anymore...it's either dads pinky or her thumb.

*We went to see the movie Charlotte's Web yesterday and she watched the whole movie except for when I fed her!

A couple of new things are happening in Kalli's world right now.
She slept in her crib last night and did great. I put her down at 10:30pm and she woke up at 8:30 am. I did get up at least four times to check on her and see if she was ok. I put her down with her head up by the mobile and when I found her this morning her feet were up by the mobile. She is rolling all over the place.
She tried rice cereal for the first time today and actually liked it. She is hilarious!! My Mom fed her so I could get some pictures of her in the action. I wish you could have seen some of the faces she made...priceless.

Mmmmmm....that's different;)

All done...I'm a happy camper!

San Diego Trip

Our first plane ride to San Diego and Kalli was awesome...what a relief. We were a little worried about how she would be with the air pressure and all, but we didn't hear a peep out of her. I fed her during take off and landing and she pretty much played with us in between the flight on the way there, but on the flight home she slept most of the way. She received her first set of wings with a certificate and the flight attendant made a speech over the intercom in her honor of first time flying. She is going to be a little world traveler;)
Kalli was passed around like a little football from family members and friends. She really enjoyed all the attention!! She wanted to be up with all the action everyday so she didn't take little cat naps during the day like she usually does.

Kalli's 1st Snow

It's snowing in Austin, Texas. We are iced/snowed in and Chico can't go to work. A lot of the roads are closed because the conditions are so bad. Kalli slept until 10:00am this morning (keep in mind we put her to bed at 10:30pm last night) and as soon as she woke up I bundled her in Chico's jacket and we went outside to discover the snow. This weather is so crazy here because just last weekend it was 80 degrees and beautiful and now it's snowing. We are definitely enjoying it though. Chico and Lexi were out there this morning playing in the backyard and video taping the snow falling. Fun stuff!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year

Time flies when you're having fun! Kalli is 14 weeks old today.

*She is sitting up a lot but not quite on her own.

*She wants to stand a lot lately.

*She has really discovered her thumb and loves it.

*She is grabbing and holding her rattle.

*She loves to ooh, caa, coo, aahhh when you talk to her.

*She loves her sleep...she goes to bed between 10 and 11 and will wake up around 8....

*She loves getting baths.

*She loves watching TV with Dad and sometimes can't take her eyes off of it even when he tries to turn her head away.

Well, New Years Eve was pretty uneventful...we watched Jackass 2 and toasted the year with Martinelli's sparkling apple cider and crashed around 12:15. Sounds like fun, huh? Times have changed;)

The three of us went to the San Antonio Riverwalk one night last weekend. We had dinner and went for ice cream on the riverwalk. Kalli was great that evening, but didn't sleep much that night because she was in bed with us. I think she missed her own bed!!

Chico is starting outdoor soccer again. I have been doing pilates with my Mom when I can. Chico is still in the process of building Lexi a dog house and it is going to be a little duplex when he's finished;) He is quite the handy man!! Actually, I call him Mr. Fix It because he can seriously fix anything...no lie. He has also been hanging with Kalli for the past two days straight while I am in Real Estate School. He has been a MAJOR help. So has my Mom.....they are really the greatest! I don't know what I would do without them!!!

I welcome 2007.......it is going to be a great year filled with new adventures!!!
