Hoppy Easter
We went to church first thing Easter morning. Thank God we got there early to get a seat because it was packed. It was a great mass and Kalli loved the choir. Then we went to my Mom's house and colored eggs, had a "hunt" and ate dinner. It was a great first Easter for Kalli!! She was quite the little bunny.
Hanging with her pretty Aunt Jessica
This is the "hunt" I was talking about...she loved picking the eggs out of the basket.
I like this pink one!
Sitting up!
Kalli is sitting up on her own without support. I still wouldn't trust to put her on a hard surface because every once and a blue moon she topples over. But she can sit there and play with a toy without falling over for a good 30 minutes. She is also learning to lay side ways with support from one arm, it's so cute because it looks like she's posing. I will have to get her in the action and take a picture. She is also getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth like she wants to crawl.
When I took her to the pediatrician last Friday the Dr. gave the thumbs up to start solids. She likes rice cereal and so far I have given her sweet potatoes. I am looking forward to trying other vegetables...she loves to eat! She looks so small in her high chair (pictures coming soon). She weighed 14 lbs. 8 oz. She took her immunizations like a rock star again. I tell ya she has a high tollerance for pain...just like her father.
It is so hard to believe our little girl is already 6 months. Where did the time go? I feel like I just had her.

Steamboat Springs
We went to Steamboat Springs in Colorado for a little R&R and snowboarding with my Mom, Sterling and Susan. Kalli loved being outside and just looked around at all the sights. She was quite the little snow bunny, but the altitude affected her a little by making her sleepy. Me and Chico left to snowboard one day and I put her down for a nap, well we were gone for at least 3 hours and I thought for sure she would be up by the time we got back. Nope, she was still sawing logs. I was afraid that since she slept so much during the day she wouldn't sleep at night, but I was wrong she still slept her 10 hours. She loves her sleep!
Kalli turned 6 months while we were there and she had a birthday treat...Pedialyte. To keep from getting dehydrated we gave her a little for the first time and she loved it. Something different than water and formula. She also likes to drink water out of water bottles and rub the cap against her teeth to make noises...so cute!

Good times!

Gpa and Gma Ross visit!
My Dad and his wife Joyce came out to visit for a couple of days. We took them to get some famous BBQ at Salt Lick one night and watched a beautiful sunset at Oasis the other night. We went out on the boat because it was a beautiful day, but no one got in because the water was FREEZING!
