Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg is a small town outside of Austin about an hour and a half away. We took a drive just to get some peach pie and ice cream because that's what they are known for, but ended up checking out their vineyards for some wine tasting. Kalli enjoyed the cheese and crackers! It was so much fun!

Hello horsey....can I take you home?

My new sweetest friend Joelle. We met about a month an a half ago at a girl's night out event and have been hanging out ever since. We went downtown one night and had a blast as always. We get together at least once a week to walk at Townlake or go shopping. She has a 4 1/2 month old beautiful girl and her name is Siena. I am Zia Erica and she is Tia Joelle. We didn't even know we were sisters;)

8 months and 2 days

Quick update on Kal....she weighs 17 pounds 3 ounces.

*She is crab crawling. She still crawls around on her knees, but the past couple of days she has been getting around crawling on her hands and feet with her bootie in the air. It is so funny!

*She loves to pull herself up to a standing position on everything she can reach....coffee table, couches, entertainment center, walls chairs, cabinets, etc. She amazes me everyday and I can't believe how strong she is.

*She has been talking a lot.....saying mama, dada, baba.

*She waves at people and objects.

*She is shaking her head from side to side like she is saying no. She imitates it if you were to do it.

*If I start to sing the song "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" she sits up and puts her hands together. Melts my heart.

She is growing up so fast and is just about the sweetest thing!

Grandma Vangie was able to make it out for a few days and it was great to have her again. We didn't get any pictures but we definitely have the memories. Kalli loved seeing her other grandma. We will see grandma and grandpa Mendoza in a few weeks!
